Fitting Built on Data, Not Guesswork
ClubGauge started with a simple frustration: too many fittings ended with a recommendation based on feel, brand loyalty, or a sales quota — not the golfer's actual numbers.
Founded By Fitters Who Wanted the Data to Talk First
ClubGauge opened in San Diego in 2015, built around a simple rule: every recommendation has to be traceable to a specific number from your session. That meant investing early in a dual radar-and-camera launch monitor system, rather than relying on a single-source unit that only captures part of the picture.
A decade later, we've logged data on more than eleven thousand club fittings across every skill level, from first-time fitting clients to competitive amateurs preparing for qualifying rounds.
Three Rules We Don't Bend On
Data Before Opinion
Every recommendation has to trace back to a number captured during your own session — not a generalization about what "usually" works.
No Brand Quota
We stock every major manufacturer specifically so we're never incentivized to steer you toward one brand over another.
No Purchase Pressure
You'll always know the price before you book, and there's never an obligation to buy after a session — the report is yours either way.
Meet the Team Behind the Numbers
Our fitters combine PGA-recognized training with hundreds of hours of launch monitor session experience.
